CAPCOMS   STRONG   3RD   PARTY   SUPPORT

As the Saturns strongest third party supporter, Capcom are keeping
Sega’s 32-bit console alive with some stunning coin-op conversions.
In the past few months we have seen the likes of Marvel Super Heros,
X-men v’s Streetfighter and Vampire Saviour.

However Capcom aren’t one to rest they have even more awesome games
lined up for release in ‘98. In early July, combat fans can look
forward to Super Gem Pocket Fighters, an conversion of the cutest
puzzle/beat’em up currently doing the rounds in arcades. Dungeons &
Dragons Collection will be unleased sometime this summer. Looking
forward to the end of the year Marvel Super Hero’s V’s Street Fighter
will be released in Japan in September. Christmas should be the time
when we will see Marvel V’s Capcom.

It’s official! In a move that is bound to annoy plenty of smug
Playstation owners, Capcom have announced the their classic horror
sequel, Resident Evil 2, will be released on the Saturn this summer.
Whats more the Saturn version of the game could well be enhanced using
the 4MB ram cart increasing the number of rooms and locations and
allowing more creatures to appear on screen at once.

Following the success of X-men v’s Street Fighter Capcom released
Vampire Saviour on April 16. Vampire Saviour is the gothic 2D beat’em
up extravaganza arcade fans have been waiting for. The third in the
hit Darkstalkers series Vampire Saviour features 18 playable horror
characters from previous games plus the addition of new comers Jedah,
Q-bee, Lilith and Baby Bonnie Hood. Thanks to th 4MB ram cart the
game boasts all the awesome hand drawn animation with no slow down.
